etsy-4592625615
Rare Italian 90s Silvered Metal Table Lamp Base | Sculptural Organic Table Light

A sculptural Italian table lamp base from the 1990s, made in Italy by MASCA and marked on the underside. The form is especially elegant, with a fluted, petal-like base rising into a narrow baluster neck, finished in a softly silvered wood effect metal with subtle warm undertones and visible textured brushwork. It has a strong decorative presence even without a shade, blending postmodern character with a refined neoclassical silhouette.

In a room, this piece reads as both understated and expressive. The scalloped base gives it a floral, architectural rhythm, while the pale metallic finish catches light beautifully and adds a gentle glow. It would work especially well in a bedroom, on a console, or as an accent lamp in interiors that mix 90s Italian design, organic modern styling, and romantic sculptural forms.

A practical and versatile lamp base for a custom shade of your choice. It uses an E14 bulb fitting and the underside label reads MASCA snc, Made in Italy, model 8998. Condition is very good vintage condition with light age-related surface wear to the finish, including minor rubbing and small darker areas at the lower edges consistent with age and use. No major damage is visible in the photos.

Height: ca. 30 cm / 11.8 in

Width: ca. 14 cm / 5.5 in

Depth: ca. 14 cm / 5.5 in

Working on an interior design project?
