Vintage Turned Wood Table Lamp with String Shade, Scandinavian Style

A sculptural vintage table lamp with a beautifully turned wood base and a hand-crafted string-wrapped shade in warm natural beige with darker vertical accents. The softly tapered organic form, visible wood grain, and earthy textile texture give it a distinctly Scandinavian or rustic modern character.

Lit, the shade creates a warm amber glow that feels cozy and atmospheric, making it especially appealing for bedside use, a reading corner, or a living room console. The combination of natural wood and woven string gives the lamp a calm, handcrafted presence that works well in mid-century, organic modern, wabi-sabi, or cottage-inspired interiors.

This lamp is both decorative and practical, ideal for adding height and warmth to a side table, dresser, or shelf. It appears to be in good vintage condition overall with light age-related wear. The shade shows minor unevenness and a few small signs of use/fraying along the rim, and the base has light surface wear consistent with age. The lamp is shown working.
