A charming pair of 1980s vintage table lamps by Targetti, made in frosted white resin with playful ribbed cream doors and rounded arched silhouettes. Their sculptural, house-like form gives them a softly postmodern feel, while the translucent shades create a gentle, diffused glow. These are visually striking pieces with a whimsical Italian design sensibility.
Lit, they cast a warm ambient light that feels cozy and atmospheric, perfect for a bedside, shelf, child’s room, reading nook, or eclectic modern interior. The stepped arch detailing adds depth and rhythm to the form, and the little door motif gives them a distinctive character that makes them decorative even when switched off.
They work beautifully as bedside lamps or accent lights and are especially appealing displayed as a matching pair. Condition is good vintage overall, with visible age-related wear including surface scuffs, light marks, some scratches to the bases, and darker discoloration/cloudy spots visible on the upper shade areas. The lamps have been tested and light up normally.
