Large Danish Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Table Lamp with Pleated Shade

A striking vintage table lamp with a sculptural turned wooden body and original pleated cream shade, likely dating to the 1970s. The base has a warm honey-toned faux woodgrain finish with bold concentric ring patterning that gives it a very graphic, almost carved appearance. The tall silhouette and tapered pleated shade create a balanced, elegant profile with a distinctly Scandinavian and mid-century inspired look.

Lit, the shade gives off a soft warm glow that feels cozy and atmospheric, making it especially gorgeous in a living room, bedroom, reading corner, or entry console. The pleated shade diffuses the light gently while the slim organic base adds vertical sculptural interest even when the lamp is switched off.

A practical and decorative accent piece for side tables, consoles, or shelves. Condition is good vintage overall with visible age-related wear. There are some scuffs and small marks to the base, slight wear and minor unevenness to the shade, and visible cracking/splitting to the outer finish near the upper section of the base.
