A striking vintage pendant light from the 1970s, made with a matte black cylindrical metal shade punctuated by raised white domed diffusers. The graphic contrast of black and off-white gives it a bold space-age look, while the repeated circular pattern creates a sculptural, architectural presence even when unlit.
Lit from within, the shade casts a soft, filtered glow through the white domes while allowing a more direct pool of light below. It has a strong mid-century modern and pop-era character, ideal for interiors that mix Italian modernist, atomic, or minimalist influences. The silhouette is clean and geometric, but the surface pattern gives it movement and visual rhythm.
A wonderful choice over a dining table, in a hallway, stairwell, or reading corner where a single statement pendant can define the room. Condition is good vintage overall with age-related wear. Some marks and finish wear are visible near the lower edge of the shade, and the inner lining has been partially fixed with transparent tape as shown. Please review all photos carefully.
