Vintage Italian 60s Murano Glass Teardrop Pendant Light, Venini Style

A striking Italian pendant light from the 1960s, featuring a large teardrop-form white glass shade with a softly matte, opaline appearance. The silhouette is elegant and sculptural, tapering upward to a rounded neck and widening into a generous drop shape below. Seller notes identify it as Italian 1960s and describe it as Venini / Murano related, with blown glass construction and rewired fittings.

Hung in a room, this piece has a quiet but dramatic presence. The smooth white glass diffuses light beautifully for a warm, soft glow, while the elongated teardrop profile gives it a refined mid-century modern character. It works especially well in minimalist, Italian modern, or softly organic interiors where a single sculptural form can anchor the space.

A wonderful choice over a dining table, in an entryway, or as a statement pendant in a reading corner or bedroom. Condition is very good vintage overall, with light age-related wear to the fitter and cord, and a few small visible surface marks / tiny imperfections to the shade visible in close-up photos. No major chips or cracks are apparent from the images provided.
