A charming pair of vintage French pendant lampshades from the 1960s, handmade slender bamboo slats in a warm honey-brown tone. Their tapered, architectural silhouette and airy openwork construction give them a sculptural presence even when unlit, with a lovely balance of rustic craftsmanship and refined mid-century form.

These shades cast light in a soft, filtered way, creating gentle linear shadows and a warm natural atmosphere. They feel distinctly bohemian, organic modern, and French in spirit, ideal for interiors that mix vintage design with natural materials, wood furniture, linen, and quiet earthy textures.

Perfect over a breakfast nook, bedside, hallway, or as a decorative pair above a counter or console. Seller notes indicate these were made in France and the shades were made to measure by the seller's partner. Condition is good vintage overall with an attractive patina. Visible age-related wear includes slight irregularity to the top rings, minor surface wear to some slats, small frays or looseness to bindings, and a few darker marks/discoloration on individual slats.
