Set of three Italian wall lights from the 1980s by Itre, made with softly curved opaline glass shades, satin-finish aluminium backplates, and warm amber-toned glass knobs. The hourglass silhouette gives these sconces a sculptural, architectural presence even when switched off, while the Italian maker’s label on the back confirms their origin and model details.
When lit, they cast a gentle diffused glow upward and downward, making them especially suited to hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, or layered living room lighting. The softly creamy opaline glass and restrained metalwork give them a clean postmodern look with a touch of late 20th century Italian design character.
These can be installed individually, as a pair, or as a full run of three for a strong decorative effect. Each fitting holds 2 small screw bulbs and the shades are removable via the front glass knob. Condition is very good vintage condition with light age-related wear to the metal mounts and minor signs of use consistent with age; no chips or cracks.
