Pair of Italian 80s Artemide Egisto 28 Frosted Glass Wall Sconces by A. Mangiarotti

A pair (2 sets are available) of Italian wall lights by Artemide, model Egisto 28 Parete, designed by A. Mangiarotti. These sculptural sconces feature ribbed frosted glass shades with a crisp black rim and white lacquered wall plates, giving them a refined 80s architectural presence. The stepped, fan-like profile creates a beautifully graphic silhouette even when unlit.

In a room, they cast a soft and diffused glow through the frosted glass, making them ideal for a hallway, bedroom, living room, or stylish bathroom setting. The design feels distinctly Italian and quietly postmodern, with a balance of geometry and softness that works well in both minimalist and more eclectic interiors.

They can be used as bedside wall lights or as a symmetrical pair in a corridor or entryway. Condition is good vintage overall, with visible age-related wear including light scuffs and small marks to the black trim, minor surface wear to the metal back plates, and a small visible chip/nick to one glass shade as shown in the close-up photos. Manufacturer label remains present on one fixture.
