Italian Vintage Murano Glass Wall Sconces, Pair of Sculptural Shell Lights

A striking pair of Italian vintage Murano glass wall sconces, made with thick clear textured glass shades and white lacquered metal backplates. The sculptural shell-like form and heavily patterned glass give these lights a beautiful organic presence, while the seeded white inclusions in the glass add depth and a softly diffused look.

When lit, they cast a gentle atmospheric glow through the textured glass, creating a warm, decorative light rather than a harsh direct beam. Their rounded, biomorphic silhouette works especially well in mid century, Space Age, coastal modern, or sculptural minimalist interiors.

Ideal for a hallway, bedroom, bathroom, or flanking a mirror or artwork. The pair presents well overall with light age-related wear to the metal hardware and backplates, along with minor surface marks and a few small dark inclusions or tiny specks visible in the glass from age/manufacture. No major cracks or chips are apparent in the photos.
