Italian 90s Capiz Shell Wall Light | Sunburst Wall Sconce

A sculptural Italian wall light from the 1990s, formed as a stylized sunburst with a domed central diffuser and radiating curved rays. The piece is made with a painted wire frame and translucent capiz shell panels, giving it a soft pearly surface and organic texture. A visible back label reads CKMADO INFINITI, imported by Gioia d'Oriente, Italy.
When lit, the capiz shell gives off a warm, gentle glow that softens the graphic sun shape and creates a relaxed Mediterranean or bohemian atmosphere. Even unlit, it works beautifully as a decorative wall sculpture with a light, airy presence and handmade character.
Ideal for a hallway, bedroom, powder room, or layered gallery wall. Wall-mounted fitting to the rear. Condition is good vintage with age-related wear: some yellowing to the inner diffuser, minor bends and irregularities to the wire frame, small edge wear and surface marks, and light imperfections to the shell consistent with handmade construction and age.
