Rare Italian 70s Amber Frosted Glass Wall Sconce | Shell Shaped Sculptural Light

A rare and striking Italian wall sconce from the 1970s, made in frosted amber-toned glass with a dark wrought iron frame. The design is beautifully sculptural, opening like a shell or fan with softly rounded lobes and a warm honey glow when lit. The combination of textured glass and hand-worked iron gives it a strong decorative presence while keeping the overall look refined and organic.

On the wall, this piece casts a warm, atmospheric light that works especially well in a hallway, bedroom, powder room, or layered living room interior. Its silhouette feels distinctly mid century with a touch of Mediterranean and Hollywood Regency character, making it ideal for interiors that mix vintage lighting with sculptural accents.

It is wall-mounted and fitted for one bulb. Condition is good vintage overall, with age-related wear to the iron frame, surface oxidation/patina, and some small marks, bubbles, and minor irregularities in the glass from age and making. The wire end is currently bare and should be installed by a qualified professional. Please review all photos closely for condition detail.
