Italian 70s Opaline Murano Glass Ceiling Lamp | Swirl Flush Mount Light

A striking Italian ceiling lamp from the 1970s, made in glossy white opaline Murano glass with a sculptural spiral swirl pattern and a white enameled metal mounting plate. The low dome silhouette gives it a soft Space Age feel, while the swirling ribbed surface adds movement and depth even when unlit.

When illuminated, the opaline glass should cast a gentle, diffuse glow that suits bedrooms, hallways, entryways, or a calm modern living space. Its rounded mushroom-like form and clean monochrome palette make it easy to place in mid-century, minimalist, postmodern, or organic modern interiors.

This piece works well as a flush mount or semi-flush ceiling light where you want visual presence without too much drop. Visible condition is very good overall, with light age-related wear to the metal mounting plate and a few minor surface marks/bubbles typical of vintage glass production. No major chips or cracks are visible in the photos.
